1. Statutory Governance & DPDP Act, 2023 Compliance

Priyanka Saxena Classes (“PSC”, “we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting the privacy, dignity, and digital autonomy of our students, faculty educators, and staff members.

This Privacy Policy is formulated in strict accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act, 2023) of India, the Information Technology Act, 2000, and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011.

Under the DPDP Act, Priyanka Saxena Classes operates as a Data Fiduciary in determining the purpose and means of digital personal data processing.

2. Categories of Personal Data Collected

We collect personal data directly provided by Data Principals (students, faculty, and staff) for legitimate educational, enrollment, and operational purposes:

A. Student & Enrollee Personal Data

Contact & Identity: Full Name, Email Address, Calling Mobile Number, and WhatsApp Number.
Academic Verification: Date of Birth, ICAI / ICMAI Student Registration ID, Course Level (Foundation, Intermediate, Final), and selected examination attempt.
Verification Documents: Student identity proof (Aadhaar / Student ID Card), passport-size verification photo, and transaction confirmation slips.
Shipping & Delivery Details: Full residential / correspondence address with pincode and state for courier dispatch of printed books and workbooks.
Technical Device Identifiers: Operating system architecture, machine GUID / hardware hash, and AnyDesk Remote Support ID (required exclusively for single-machine encrypted video player licensing and player activation).

B. Staff & Employee Attendance Data

Employment Identification: Staff Name, Designated Role, Office Contact Number, and Hashed PIN (secured via salted scrypt key derivation).
On-Demand Punch Verification: Front camera selfie photograph and instantaneous GPS coordinates captured strictly at the moment of duty check-in and check-out to compute monthly attendance muster and salary slips. Continuous background location tracking is never performed.

3. Lawful Grounds & Purposes of Processing

In compliance with Section 4 and Section 7 of the DPDP Act 2023, data is processed under the following lawful grounds:

Consent-based Educational Fulfillment (Section 6): Processing enrollments, issuing software player serial keys, providing cloud lecture access, clearing payment transactions, and shipping physical study kits.
Employment & Attendance Verification (Section 7(b)): Recording staff shifts, daily punctuality, leave approvals, and monthly salary disbursement calculations.
Intellectual Property Protection & Anti-Piracy: Preventing copyright infringement, illegal decoding, screen recording, or unauthorized distribution of proprietary video lectures pursuant to the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.

4. Data Retention & Automated Disposal Schedule

In accordance with Section 8(7) of the DPDP Act 2023, personal data is retained only for the duration necessary to satisfy the purpose for which it was collected:

Staff Attendance Punch Photos: Subject to automated retention management (`/api/admin/attendance/cleanup`). Punch selfie images are automatically pruned after 90 days once monthly muster and audit sign-offs are finalized.
Student Course Records: Maintained for the duration of the active course subscription validity and for 180 days thereafter to facilitate doubt clearing, re-attempts, or license renewals.
Statutory Tax & Financial Ledgers: Invoicing and order payment records are retained for the statutory period mandated under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) Act and Income Tax Act of India.

6. Data Principal Statutory Rights (DPDP Act, 2023)

Under Chapter III of the DPDP Act 2023, students, faculty, and staff (Data Principals) possess the following statutory rights:

Right to Access Information (Sec 11)

Request a summary of your personal data being processed and the identities of third parties with whom data has been shared.

Right to Correction & Erasure (Sec 12)

Correct inaccurate or outdated contact/shipping information, update incomplete profiles, or request erasure of non-essential records.

Right of Grievance Redressal (Sec 13)

Right to Nominate (Sec 14)

Nominate an individual to exercise your data principal rights in the event of death or incapacity.

7. Protection of Children & Minors (Section 9)

In accordance with Section 9 of the DPDP Act 2023, where a student pursuing foundational commerce qualifications (such as CA/CMA Foundation) is under the age of eighteen (18) years, enrollment and personal data processing must be undertaken with the verification and consent of their parent or lawful guardian. We do not track, target, or profile minor students for behavioral advertising.
